Use this form to apply for lifeguard, pool manager, pool assistant manager, baseball head coach, baseball assistant coach, softball head coach, softball assistant coach, and mower. You will be contacted by the Park and Rec Board for interview.

Shelter Reservations

Welcome to your and your guests!

The park shelters and reservation system is managed by the City of Lansing and Park and Recreation Board.

Make a Reservation!

City Park Shelter

  • Nearby playground, splash pad and indoor restrooms.
  • River level view of the Mississippi.
  • Two blocks from city Main Street.

Mt. Hosmer Park Shelter

  • Nearby playground and indoor restrooms.
  • Stunning overlook views of river and valley.
  • 6th St N, one mile from Main Street.

Shelters may be reserved in advance.

  • Review the scheduling calendar to confirm shelter availability.

Reservation Fees 

Deposits are refunded when all trash is removed following the event and the pavilion is left in the condition in which it was found.

  • Half day: (8am-2pm or 2pm-8pm) is $75 plus $25 refundable deposit
  • Full day: (8am-8pm) is $125 plus $25 refundable deposit

Payment

  • Payment can be made online during registration or in person at City Hall
  • Payments must be received within 24 hours in advance for Monday – Thursday reservations, and by Thursday for weekend reservations.
